You are invited to UNDERSTANDING i-KIDS, an event at the Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning on April 26 from 5-7pm. If you were born before 1989 you are a Digital Immigrant, and are living in what truly is an alien environment. The Web 2.0 world has changed how we interact, create and share information, learn and communicate in ways our kids understand, but even those of us who are naturalized citizens do not and cannot fully understand.
Join us Tuesday, April 26 to present two new books by Doris Settles, participate in a discussion about technology in Kentucky and our personal lives with KDE Associate Commissioner David Couch and Connect Kentucky’s Rene True, demos by Best Buy and Ky Trade on specific Web 2.0 social networking and new technology, and food. And all for free!
Please pass this on to friends, family and families!
